The tagger and fetchGWI tools provide a rapid mean to search for exact or near
exact matches between short oligonucleotide queries and sequence databases
comprising entire genomes or transcriptomes.
This release introduces a change in the index format that both improves search speed and reduces the size of the index file.
Compilation on 32-bit machine has been made easier.

Ambiguous nucleotides can be specified in the queries. It is also possible to specify the number of allowed mismatches.
