The new version 2.0b5 is ready for download over the channel pear.struts4php.org.

The new release adds the functionality to cache the XML configuration file as a native PHP class to avoid reparsing it every request.

This provides a great performance advantage. In our tests, this is up to 10 times faster than reparsing the XML configuration file.

The struts4php project team has setup a new channel for easy installation of the packages.

The channel can be discovered under pear.struts4php.org and provides all packages necessary for running webapplications build around the MVC framework.

We've added a patched version of the smarty template engine, that provides a new iterate tag, that provides an easy way to iterate over objects, by using the bean_write_tag inside the iteration.

We've added a new release 2.0b2 with some bugfixes and the functionality to use the ActionMapping marked as unknown in the configuration file, if no path is passed as parameter.

Hi, we've released the first beta version of the new tag-library for struts4php for the smarty template engine.

As this is the first release there are maybe some bugs in it. But we are actually working on a project with it and for us it works well. So i hope you will give it a chance and send some feedback to me :-).

we are working on a tag-library escecially designed for working with struts4php and the smarty template engine.

I've released a first document that described the tags we plan to implement. Unfortunately it is in only in german. I hope some of you guys have a look at it and give me some feedback. I put the document on the struts4php homepage under http://www.struts4php.org.

We've added a new release 2.0b1 with some bugfixes and the integration of so called DynamicActionForms. It's now possible to minimize the work for writing ActionForms by using a DynamicActionForm. A DynamicActionForm is some kind of HashMap with one item for each HTML form field. The fields have to be declared in the configuration file.

Hi, we have released a bugfix version 1.0.6 with several bugfixes and a new 2.0-alpha version for testing purposes.

The new 2.0-alpha version is the first totally PHP5 refactored version with plugin support. In the meantime we're using several "libararies" and the 2.0-alpha is based on them. So, if you want to test it, you have to download this libraries.

The team released a new version of the framework. The most important new feature is the possibility to include ActionForm's and Actions dynamically by declaring them in the configuration file. Also it's now possible to specify a resource bundle over the configuration file in connection with passing the actuale locale to the constructor of the ActionBanana.

For the next release of PHPMagazin - http://www.phpmag.de - we have written an article how to use struts4php in your projects. We hope that this would animiate interested developers to use struts4php in their own projects.

It is the first release of this page an we are working hard to complete it as fast as possible.

I've addad a short tutorial about installation, configuration and usage of struts4php to the docs.

Bacause my english is not the best, i'm looking for somebody whe will help me to complete the tutorial.

I've released a pear package for easy installation of struts4php. Download the package from http://www.techdivision.com/struts4php/Struts4Php-1.0.3.tgz oder install it directly with the PEAR installer by type pear install http://www.techdivision.com/struts4php/Struts4Php-1.0.3.tgz. struts4php is now completely documented in english language including the example application. Additional i've made an api documentation with phpDocumentor and added it to cvs and to the release 1.0.1.
