Trillian Sametime plugin 0.9.1.1 (alpha) available

Announcements

This email is being sent to you to announce the following news related
to the Trillian Sametime plugin (stplugin) project:

* Release 0.9.1.1 of stplugin is now available.

* A web site is available for the stplugin user community. Please
visit the stplugin home page <http://stplugin.org> for more
information.

Summary of Changes

The following fixes, changes, and/or enhancements were made in this
release of stplugin:

* Added the ability to import Sametime contacts from Sametime
Connect BuddyList files. BuddyLists created by Sametime Connect
2.5 or higher are supported.

* Added International character encoding support (UTF-8) for
Sametime contacts and text messages.

* Changed tooltip for new Sametime contact list sections.

* Added timestamp to Sametime.log debug output.

* Improved URL encoding for the Sametime userid in the contact info URL.

* New connection manager icon is displayed correctly.

* Fixed the creation of a new contact list section when adding or
changing preferences for a Sametime account.

Who Should Upgrade

Generally, all stplugin users should upgrade to the latest release when
available. For this particular release, the following stplugin users
will benefit the most from the enhancements and/or fixes introduced with
this release:

* Sametime Connect 2.5 or higher users that have a large number of
Sametime contacts defined and have been waiting for stplugin to
provide the ability to import their Sametime Connect BuddyList file.

* International users that have contact names containing characters
not represented in the normal ASCII character set.

* International users that send/receive text messages containing
characters not represented in the normal ASCII character set.

releases from the stplugin project page on SourceForge.

How to Report Problems

Before reporting problems related to stplugin, please ensure you are
running the latest available release and review the list
