This release is a minor release that contains some housekeeping updates that address the internals. No new features were added of note.

1.7.0 Release

  • Integrated new class for getting data from Yahoo
  • Updated the stock data table to work better with new Yahoo data
  • Added code to automatically upgrade databases at login
  • Fixed bug with password change
  • Updated dividend reports:
    • Current year only reports stocks that have paid a dividend this year
    • All-Time only reports stocks that have paid a dividend

1.6.1 Release

1.6.1 corrects a bug with the data restore feature that caused the upload form to produce an error and not be displayed.

1.6.0 Release

1.6.0 includes all of 1.5.0 changes plus the following:

  • Added an annual dividend income graph to the dividend report
  • Removed calls to yahoo to update the stock data from everywhere except the portfolio overview.

Data still updates every 15 minutes, but you must load the overview page to trigger it. I'm tempted to update the stock data only at login, as this is not meant to be a trading platform, so real-time data is really not required.

1.5.0 Release

1.5.0 is a small feature release. It adds a "Growth Target" column to the Signals screen. This column calculates the target price per share based on the "sellTrigger" percentage you enter in the settings, and displays what the price per share would be if that percentage was met. It also displays the amount per share you are away from the target to give you an idea if something is close, or if a stock has triggered the growth sale signal by how much.... read more

  • Conversion to object-oriented MVC design
