Working on project web site. It'll be a while -- i can't be satisfied with easily available choices--
Then on to implementing new ideas for predictor.

configuration file:
__Spirit's file dialogs point to where they were last session.
__And more to come, like color, font and other options.

Better dialogs:
__Oops! guards -- asks if you want to save before quitting, opening another file, etc.
__Started help menu items -- pretty rough so-far, but may answer key questions.

Next:
__Try to create sensible help file about study depth.
__Improve predictor (for speed and accuracy)

Text Area
You can edit your text in a conventional manner.
Predictor
You can add text by rolling over predictions.
Automatic scrolling of newest predictions.
Keypad
No appropriate predictions? Predictor needs a hint: Use keyboard or on-screen keypad.

Some definitions--
Corpus: one or more texts used to build a Predictor.
Depth: the maximum length for character sequences from the study corpus.
Predictor: An object that contains:
1. A histogram of the character sequence occurrences found in the corpus.
2. Methods that return the character(s) likely to follow a given sequence.
3. Methods to build the histogram given a corpus file reference.
4. Methods to maintain the histogram given a character sequence.... read more

SPIRIT, the mouse oriented text-entry device
Can I produce text faster using a mouse than using a keyboard?
Well, maybe so, because of my own limited keyboarding skills.

Spirit uses the context of your last several characters to predict your next characters or words. Several candidate words are presented near your mouse pointer, so all you have to do is roll over your choice.
