New SPipe version for Apache 2.0 available.
Now SPipe is a filter for this webserver.
The source code is available in CVS repository and you may download the .so file compiled for Linux.
This new version allows to redirect diferent protocols in the same port of Apache configuration.
You only have to change your configuration and put the first bytes of the protocol and the url to redirect it:
SSLSPipeProtocolUrl <bytes> <host>:<port>
You can choose an URL by default with:
SSLSPipeUrlDefault <host>:<port>
A problem with the patch has been solved. Now, SPipe runs with Apache version 1.3.31and mod_ssl 2.8.17, but also continues running with older versions of Apache and mod_ssl.
New SPipe patch is now available at SPipe home page: patch_SPipe_0.1.4.gz
In version 0.1.3 of SPipe patch another bug have been resolved. This is the most consistent version of SPipe patch.
SPipe has been tested under Windows XP with Apache 1.3.29 and mod_ssl 2.8.16, and it works correctly!!!
A new patch version has been released with support for UNIX and WIN32.
A bug discovered while using VNC with SPipe have been resolved.
Now you can use VNC with SSL, using two SPipe webservers. See documentation about it in SPipe page.
