The latest 1.0 release of the log book application has been tested on Mac OS X using Java 1.5_07 release. It has also been tested in Windows XP.

The latest release of Pilotslog Version .7 has a minor irritating bug fix that corrects the problem of the transposed pilot certificate with pilot certificate number. This release is also the most bug free as there has been no other bugs found.

There were a few bugs, and in fact major bugs, that have been fixed, for first time users starting the application. There have been user interface improvements for reports, and enahncements made to file exporting. Look at the latest changes to see all the improvements.

Version 3 now has almost full support for printing out all the information to the FAA 8710 form. The tools wizard for the FAA 8710 form walks the user through by asking some questions. The wizard compiles the data entered with the logbook information and prints out a complete FAA 8710 application.

Although not all of the fields are filled out, the user still can make modifcations to the form fields and print if the have the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The user would need a commercial version of Adobe to be able to save the modified form data.... read more

Finally, the initial release of a aircraft pilot's logbook. This gem runs on just about any operating system because it was written in Java. Made better yet by the fact it runs pretty easily for any user (beginners to advanced).
