Today, after some few months of playtesting, I have declared "Generic White Dog vs. the RedBaron" stable. The new source is already up, win32 version will follow shortly, OS X version will follow whenever I get to compile it on OS X. BeOS version dito; I'm going to university tomorrow, so you're probably better off compiling it yourself (makefiles included).
New version features Mac OS & Windows option dialogue, *OpenGL support*, funky things (surely it does), homing missiles, new AI (also in BeOS!),
and a new NSIS under Windows. Did I mention the OpenGL support?
The Mac OS X version has been built successfully and will be uploaded later this day. Homepage updated.
Okay, we now have the source .tar.gz in a working state. Everything's using autoconf/automake; so the build process should be no problem. GWDRB even builds under QNX!
The Mac makefiles are yet to be included.
Furthermore, I corrected a directory problem in the win32-bin package; everything should work now.
The Mac and i386-Linux binaries should be in shortly.
