Simpleton CMS / News: Recent posts

In this new version we have updated the database engine from active-link.org. This gives us many more functions to work with. The installer is about %20 complete. We now have a new smarty plugin to handle the database queries depending on pagename.php and the $page var. We hope to have the installer complete for the next alpha release, so be sure to watch for that.

There is now a development tree in our cvs repository, I will be updating it to changes being made to core code. Anyone interested can view this repository @ http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/simpletoncms/dev/

This is the beginning of a new idea. You would like something easy to use and simple in structure at the same time? Then this would be for you. It requires no extra features eg. sql database or special server requirements other then PHP. Download the alpha for an inside look on the direction of this project. If you have any ideas or would like to lend a helping hand by all means join us in what we think is an exellent content management system.
