x:einfach simple java components / News: Recent posts

today x:einfach released version 1.4.1 of the simple java components, a set of useful, practically oriented and easy to use java components and utility classes.

it includes several things such as:
- a page cache for loading remote content from URLs,
- an IP Subnet checker to see if an ip-address or subnet is inside another one,
- String and Date handling methods,
- a servlet authentication filter mechanism,
- a standalone jdbc connection pool and
