#1 nmap scan causes shimmerd to exit

Using nmap with options "-sV -p<port_range>"
causes shimmerd to exit with the following error:

Use of uninitialized value in subroutine entry at /usr/lib/perl/5.8/Socket.pm line 198.
Bad arg length for Socket::unpack_sockaddr_in, length is 0, should be 16 at /usr/lib/perl/5.8/Socket.pm line 198.

I inadvertently submitted this report anonymously...

The bug seems fairly serious (even though the code is still alpha), since it's a DOS.
