I have an Intel NUC running W7 Home edition. Its only function is running windows media center. I have connected a pair of B&W MM1 PC speakers through USB and it works perfectly. Now I have bought an Apple TV and would like to play the sound through my MM1 speaker. I have installed Shairport on my NUC and given it an airplay name. It shows up on my apple TV and I choose the NUC as the playing device. On the NUC I can see in Shairport that it receives communication from the Apple TV but there is no sound from the MM1 speaker. Any ideas what I am doing wrong or is the Apple TV not supported.?
Regards

Sorry, that won't work because Apple TV tries to utilize the "new" Airplay protocol. Same if you do own an old, v1 Airport Express which won't work either

Can you confirm that the MM1 speakers are selected as the output device in the advanced settings in shairport?
