Uncompress files --keep compatibility-- without "ERROR: Dangerous link path...
A free file archiver for extremely high compression

Dear Igor et al!
With latest Ubuntu LTS (the same hapens with Kubuntu, Lubuntu, etc.) I have switched from p7zip to 7zip but... a lot of .7z files have links inside, some of those links can be restored using -snld although most of them can not be...
You can even create archives (with files and symlinks) with 7zz -snh -snl (that's good) but you are unable to uncompress them (even using -snld) :-(
The same happens to other people, for example:
- "archives that I could extract with older versions of 7z are no longer usable with the new version".
- "This breaks backwards compatibility with older versions of 7z (which don't fail extracting this archive). Here is an example: ERROR: Dangerous link path was ignored".
That would be kindly solved with the «additional mode to allow [uncompressing] any links» that Igor talked about.
I can help e.g. doing tests or reviewing code or writing some code, and other volunteer can also write code.
Finally, thanks for 7zip! We can connect all the dots and keep up the good work!
