Latest release of SendTrap, the open source trap generator, includes many significant changes:
1) run session may be structured into different tasks, each one sending a different subset of traps
2) UI design was reviewed
3) basic statistical support

Version 1.0 final of SendTrap released on December 2nd 2002.
SendTrap is a Java Trap Agent Emulator providing support for V1 and V2 traps, multiple SNMP destinations and cyclic run.
Persistent configuration is realized via XML.

Release 1.0 RC1 of SendTrap is now available for download at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sendtrap
This release of the Java Trap Agent Emulator allows you to define an unlimited set of V1 and V2 traps and SNMP Destinations and to configure and execute a Run session.
XML persistence will be added soon.
