Thank you very much but I can't find the r1485 install files anywhere

OK thanks I see a ton of changelogs but no install file. I reinstalled 1475 and now I can't even get it to run

OK I got 1485 installed and experimented with font sizes. I got them even too large but they won't go back down. I tried both the menu decrease all fonts and the keyboard ctrl-shift-minus and neither does anything

I think that this request is very useful, especially for elder people. I realized this request in [r1485], please test whether it works for you. (Do you build from repository?)

Note that starting with "scidb-beta --reset.-fonts" will reset all font sizes to deault values.

I see, you are not installing from repository. If you want to install latest source do the following:

sudo apt-get install subversion # install subversion on Ubuntu/Debian
svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/scidb/code/trunk scidb-code
cd scidb-code
./configure
make; sudo make install

To keep the repository up-to-date use

 svn update # fetch latest version from repository

This is curious, my version is working. Please try again. And please note that starting Scidb with "scidb-beta --reset.fonts" will restore the default font sizes.

Thank you so much,I have it running and the nice larger fonts. About the only thing I still couldn't do in linux was read chessbase files and now that is solved. Chessbase reader always froze on me. Great program!
