This is a minor release which includes all the bug fixes since 3.12.0. Some of these bug fixes are quite important (e.g. the Excel download had a few problems with in 3.12.0).

This release is a major update of the whole system to close various SQL injection and XSS vulnerabilities. If are using an earlier version, your system is extremely vulnerable to hacking. Please download and install this version as soon as possible and re-read the revised installation instructions which contains details of some scripts which should be removed once your system is installed correctly.

The latest version of OES has just been released. This is a critical release which attempts to prevent some vulnerabilities which were present in previous releases.

This release should be applied immediately to all installations.

There was a serious problem with the install and upgrade routins for 3.10.1. We've just uploaded a new version of the both zips.

If you had problem installing a new OES installation, you can download the new zip and it should work now.

If you've tried upgrading and are now having problems logging in to admin, contact us through the normal channels.

OES 3.10.1 has now been released. This contains a few minor bug fixes. In particular there was a problem with the upgrade routine in 3.10.0 where a file prefix was used.

OES 3.10.0 has now been released. This contains various bug fixes and a major change to the way entry forms are processed. In addition we've added a new way to add sales items to a race and to sell items along with the entry. Full details are in the changelog.

Instructions for the new sales functionality is in the howto_pricing.html document in the documentation folder.

OES 3.0.8 has just been released. This fixes a serious bug which was introduced in Chrome 29 (no other browsers were affected) whereby several forms stopped working. There isn't much else to this release except a couple of minor bug fixes, but the Chrome problem was a show-stopper which was only reported today so we've rushed out this small release.

The latest version of oes is now available. The offline admin system for this version is currently being tested. If anyone requires a pre-release version, let me know.
This version fixes a number of problems including installation bugs.
There is an important update to paypal processing which previously caused certain paid entries to remain in 'unpaid'.
New to this release are a page copy function, race-specific terms & conditions pages and the ability to configure by race whether race entry lists are shown.
We're moving towards a simpler way of setting up new payment systems too - although this work isn't complete yet.

I just posted an updated oes3.0.6.zip installation file. There was a bug in the database installation routine which created duplicate entries in the database metadata. If you've had any problems getting entry forms to work after installing a clean version of oes3.0.6, contact me from the contact form at www.openentrysystem.org and I'll walk you through removing the duplicates.

This version adds functionality for date-based pricing and discount coupons.

There are some important bug fixes to the installation routine. If you've previously had problems getting 3.0.5 to work, try installing this version instead.

The latest version of oes is now available along with the latest version of the offline admin tool which has been significantly improved and refined.

This version allows entries to be added and maintained offline and later uploaded to the website. If has features for listing address labels and entry lists as well as results entry and prize allocation.

This release is a maintenance release containing a few bug fixes.

An update to the offline admin tool is still planned shortly. Note that there are still a number of problems with the existing tool when adding entries through the offline system. I will post another news item as soon as these issues have been fixed.

This release is primarily a maintenance release containing a few bug fixes.

There are, however, significant enhancements to the offline admin tool which now allows offline changes and additions to entries for later upload. This improves the operation of race day where an internet connection isn't available.

The PHP version of oes is now officially available.

This version is an enhanced version of the last ASP version. An upgrade path is available from the last ASP version and you should contact us through the project forums or via our support page on www.openentrysystem.org if you wish to upgrade. You are encouraged to do so as no further development will take place on the ASP version.

Also included is a vastly improved offline administration system. You can see a video demo of this at www.openentrysystem.org/demo.html.

The entry system was developed and is in use by one running club in the UK.

We've had several requests from other clubs who wish to use our entry system. We're currently working on parameterising and removing any hardcoding and will post the first GPL version in the next few days.
