refile / News: Recent posts

I took a bad way to develop this project. I've restarted every single thing for 3 months. I have now a good file renaming api, quite powerfull. I'm doing the renamer engine. And the last thing will be the command line interpretter. The GUI version will come long after the CMD version. It will be XML complient. Coming this summer (I hope, after so hard work)

there is not so must GUI improvement from now BUT in the background source code, there are ;-)

Until the first release of [refile], I release my old work about file renaming. You should find the 2001, 2002 and the 2004 release. the 2004 is quite good, ideas are there and was wrote in C++ BUT there are 2 little bugs known (see the bugs directory in sources package).
Hope it will help to wait the first release of refile.

I finished the architecture of the GUI. I do some graphical and functionnal amelioration and then I'm starting to code the renamer engine.
