This is mostly a bugfix release, which should increase stability and user expirience a lot. Please see the changelog for a full list of changes.

Here are some thoughts for the (near) future of this project and a small roadmap for the next releases.

Current release is version 2.3.

Version 2.4: This will be a bugfix release only. I'll try to iron out some bugs from the sf.net tracker like the broken recipe multiplier. Please continue to submit the bugs you find. It'll probably take some time, until they get resolved, but I'll definately care about all submissions.... read more

Finally after some time here is the new rbook version 2.2!

The most important new feature of this release is a slideshow feature for multiple recipe images. Also a guestbook was added to the site. Next to many smaller fixes the annoying db-errors some of you noticed should be fixed in this release.

Released version 2.1.1. This release adds 'popularity sorting' and converted the steps table into a list. I also spent some time refactoring the code.

Found bug in German translation that was causing installer to fail.

This fixed some major problems that were introduced when the controllers were refactored. Including the ability to create new users.

Changed to a dispatcher architecture where URLs are rewritten to controllers/actions that handle requests rather than have a whole bunch of top-level PHP programs. This should make testing and development easier.

I migrated the source code from CVS to SubVersion at the 1.6Beta0 tag, and restructured the repository so that the build scripts could be included in the repository.

This release brings a changed UI and better support for internationalization in the setup application. There's a few kinks in the system, but the beta is pretty stable and worth updating to.
