would it be possible to add support for ogg/vorbis audio files via the vorbisgain?

It would be nice to have a frontend that can handle a mixed collection.
It would be especially wonderful if it could, somehow, cache the album / audiophile analysis from both backends and then apply "the right" value to both filetypes for a mixed "album".
Sorry for the very late answer :) To be frankly no one else asked vorbisgain support but you. Adding a new type of audio backend engine to the app is not among my plans. If there are more requests in this topic I will maybe reconsider it later...
