Hi elbar,

How is the weather in Greece? I always wanted to visit there. Thanks for sharing QModMaster it has come in quite handy for testing Modbus slave code that I have developed for various embedded devices. I find the "Bus Monitor" and "Tools" windows very useful. One thing that would be a nice addition, either as part of the main GUI or in the "Tool" window, would be the ability to test the function codes 20 and 21, Read File Record and Write File Record, aka Read General Reference and Write General Reference. Do you have any plans to this functionality? Perhaps, instead of direct support for these function or in addition to, would be the ability to create a custom query packet to be sent after calculating the CRC and just display the raw response packet?

Regarding the future, I plan to transition from libmodbus to Qt Serial Bus libraries. This will be implemented whenever I find the time to work on it.
