Python Exim Monitor/Manager / News: Recent posts

The first stable major release of PyEximon, a monitor/manager for the popular MTA, Exim, is now available.

All reported bugs have been fixed and the previous limit of 10,000 messages per queue has been removed, enabling support for an arbitrary number of messages. The user interface and packaging system have also undergone stringent overhauls, resulting in a much improved product.

One of the last minor releases of PyEximon, a GNOME monitor/manager for the popular MTA, Exim, is now available. Many cosmetic and functional enhancements have been added since 0.8.5, making this the largest developmental milestone since the initial release.

PyEximon now supports selection of multiple messages for all actions and a list-constrol driven interface has been adopted for display of message information. Log monitoring has also been tweaked at the request of several users, allowing more detailed error reports.... read more

Version 0.8.5 of PyEximon, a GNOME monitor/manager for the popular Unix MTA, Exim, is now available. This new version is offered either as a gzipped tarball or a Debian package. Features added since the last release are geared towards backwards compatability with earlier Python releases as well as compatability with PyGTK2 and subsequent future releases of PyGTK. In addition, the Debian package has been cleaned up and the suggestions of users have been incorporated into the code. PyEximon 0.7.5 has just been released! In this release I have added a toolbar and a 'View' menu to the log browsing windows as well as cleaning up the threading code to make the program faster. See below for more general information regarding PyEximon.

I'm proud to announce minor release seven of PyEximon. Many bugs have been fixed, and code has been checked for backwards compatability with early Python versions (2.1+).
