Hello everybody!

PPC_edit version 1.4 is almost done. Now I'm only testing things, I'm preparing to localize it and then the release will come.

The only thing left to develop is RTF import, which is still a bit buggy. It may happen that it won't appear in 1.4, if I don't make it work as I expect it to.

But anyways, stay tuned, and look forward to new features of PPC_edit 1.4, like digital signatures, file splitter, DocBook import and export, WordML import, saving and opening files in 140 different encodings and more.... read more

Hello everybody, I'm currently working at new version, which will include some useful new features that are listed below. Some are already done, some are not yet.

new in 1.35:

* Working DocBook XML export, DocBook XML import. This is already done and working.
* WordML (Word 2003 XML) import was added and will be available in version 1.4.
* Generating of digital signatures (MD5, SHA1 - actually, they are hashes). They can be generated for the text from menu, or for the entire file after saving. This is also done and will be in 1.4 too.
* RTF export is finally working correctly and it can now deal with every encoding and characters.... read more

Hello all users!

finally, new version has come...

Lot of code has been rewritten to be object-oriented. Initially, most of it was located in one source file, and it has grown quite big and hard to maintain and expand.

* functionality changes:
* -----
* Added character form with 56 special characters.
* Not all of them can be displayed with all fonts and nor could be exported into RTF.
* RTF export is now a lot faster
* Up and Down arrow keys are finally working
* Added "wrap text" option in Edit menu

New version is out! Binary package for now, source will come tomorrow as usual.

* HTML import - decode HTML and do not decode HTML
* backspace non-scrolling fixed -(when you are on some scrolled part of document (not the first "page"), the backspace key will delete previous character on press, but will also scroll to the beginning of document
* Localization: Context menu, messages, main menu, dialog boxes
* RTF saving progress dialog now shown when saving RTF. Better than no-wait screen that looks like app has frozen.... read more

Release candidate 2 for version 1.1 is out!

The on-screen soft keyboard is now available in Slovak, Czech, English and Hungarian and the work on keyboard is almost complete.

hello folks,
new version will come out in a few days, (i think next Monday or so) just after all of my exams are done. It will have own soft input panel with 4 languages (for now) and also the interface will be available in more languages.

the line-breaking bug is fixed, it was accidentally deleted "\n" in RTF filter.

I have recently found some bugs with line breaking, it appears that sometimes few characters, sometimes entire word after line break is lost.
