PortalXP - Teacher Edition / News: Recent posts

PortalXP is moving into two different projects now.

Project #1: PortalXP for Teachers.
It is a front-end product for teachers to quickly post information to a website and create a classroom website in minutes.
- Written in PHP4/MySQL

Project #2: PortalXP for ePO Admins
Project to create a web based front-end for ePO Administration.
- Written in ASP.NET and C#.
- Testing will be on both a Windows IIS server and Apache using Mono.

Version 1.2 brings many compatability issues with PHP 4.2.x to a close.

The next major release, 1.5 should be ready to go in about one to two months. This is the release no one has been waiting for.

Version 1.1 of PortalXP is now released. This release fixes some of the obvious bugs in the first release and adds a few new toys.

PortalXP.org source code has been released in full functioning form. You can visit http://www.portalxp.org to see this software in action.

PortalXP is a web based application that allows teachers to quickly post information on the web without knowing detailed HTML code.

PortalXP is available in two forms. Downloadable source code to use within your district, or free web space is available at http://www.portalxp.org.

The first beta code will be available within weeks.
