Some people complained about the project not being updated for a long time. This does not mean that I'm no longer working on it. To tell you the truth, PortalAPI 2 is already on its way out of the door as I'm writing this. But before releasing v2 I guess that there should be at least a final v1.0 version with proper documentation.
Don't look away! I need your help. I need someone who can take up the challenge of writing the technical documentation of PortalAPI.
v1.0 RC1 of PortalAPI is finally out.
Unfortunately I've not been able to test it under Win32, so I don't know how it behaves. If you find any bugs, please submit them to the bug tracker on SF.
Release date for v1.0 RC1 is approaching. I am adding some finishing touches to the code and I'm going to test it under win32 in order to see if it's fully compatible.
Another new version of Portal API has seen the light.
This time it comes with a new version of every package (portal, admin and example site).
Lots of fixes and improvement have gone into the production of this version. Have fun and let me know if you find any bugs.
v1.0 beta 5 of Portal API has been released. No major features this time, only a lot of small bug fixes.
This is a maintenance release. Beta 2 of Portal API features some small fixes and the addition of the NavBar classes.
Along come beta 2 of the admin, too. The new version of the admin has some major fixes.
Portal API v1.0 BETA 1 has been released. Along with the main framework come two example applications made up for a simple content management system.
SourceForge project has been setted up.
Portal API status at the moment is "alpha". This means that I'm going to publish some packages that contain the core features, but don't expect them to be error proof or easy to install. This will come at a later time.
