This version now checks to make sure that the vote cast is a valid choice. Also fixed error that corrupted password for new users when they confirmed if encrypted passwords were being used.
Added ability to easily toggle whether results can be viewed before voting. User's passwords can now be encrypted within the database. Also, some general cleanup.
First major update in a while. Added a user preferences section where users can change their password and subscribe/unsubscribe from notification e-mails.
Major security update fixing an incredibly stupid bug that would allow users to vote more than once if they signed in using a different capitalization on their username then when they signed up.
Updates include a fixed typo in pollmanagement.tmpl and, more importantly fixed URL redirection escaping, which produced really weird errors if you used characters like & in your poll name.
After much waiting and anticipation (well, not really) - Poll Central, a comprehensive web based voting program, has finally been released under the GPL. Download and enjoy! The live demo is up at http://pollcentral.sourceforge.net/.
The Poll Central SourceForge project was launched today. I am very close to being finished with the code and should have something to release in the next week or two.
