EPOSER v0.3.0 released

Thanks to a long work with dufgrinder, we are pleased to announce this new release candidates.
You can get the binaries in Files section of this project.

The main changes are:

  • New functions :

    • Report Morph from a default geometry onto the Alternate Geometries of an Actor
    • Conversion of dynamic to static channels
  • Better compatibility with Poser 9 and Poser 7 (New keywords : animatableOrigin, collisionDetection, enabled)

  • Major bug fix on DephMapSize (generated some loss at light definition)
  • Major bug fix on geometry filenames with blank character in props (hair for example)
  • Update of H2 to last stable 1.3.176
  • Add a min length to morph report (it provides the means to avoid too big delta list)
  • Add a Search for used material in Geometries
  • Reading/Writing optimizations

EPOSER is an Eclipse RCP Application, it requires Java7 to run.

INSTALL.txt
For technical information, read the "readme.txt" file.

1) Binary Package:
EPOSER 0.3.0 is distributed in a simple "Zip" file.

2) Installation notes:
Just uncompress it.

Eposer require a Java 1.6 Virtual Machine (JVM) or above. Either Oracle one, either OpenJDK one.

3) Running Eposer:
Like any (?) Eclipse RCP application, EPOSER will create a data directory to store
the preferences and the index database (named workspace).
You can choose to fix the location of the directory with the "-data" argument.

eposer -data /home/MYACCOUNT/runtime-EPOSER.product

IMPORTANT : At the first run, YOU MUST set the preferences! (especially the Poser installation directory)

4) Short cut creations :
Linux (gnome & Co):
Command Line: /opt/eposer/eposer -data /home/MYACCOUNT/runtime-EPOSER.product

Microsoft Windows :
Command Line: C:\eposer\eposer.exe -data D:\home\MYACCOUNT\runtime-EPOSER.product

5) Upgrade from Previous EPOSER

- Rename the old installation directory (to eposer.old for example)
- Just Unzip the new release (to eposer)
- Move the workspace directory from eposer.old to eposer.
