The first real and stable version of PMS is finally here. PMS is a ncurses-based client for MPD with lots of nice features.

Hi everyone.

A new version 0.3.1 is coming up with a couple of ground-breaking features ;-)
- native playback (mp3, ogg, flac, wav)
- cuesheet support
- MySQL database instead of text-based database
- More stable UI
- More stability all over
- support for writing tags
- auto-lookup tags from freedb and autotagger
- select multiple playlists for playback
- ...and more

I guess it won't be long before the first alpha comes along.

PMS is under development again, and the entire program has been rewritten. Although the current version is an alpha version, it is very useable. I need bug testers too, so give it a try.
