PHP SiteBuilder / News: Recent posts

It's been 15 months since previous release. Tobias and I (Jesper) have done quite some work since version 0.99-21.
We plan to make a release soon. Both of the 400+ cvs improvements already made, and of some more stuff we have up our sleeves.

I won't put my head on the block to set a release date, but right now, we think we'll be ready in about a month or so from now.

Well, there has not been much development on the project lately (we have been occupied elsewere), but we should mention that we have put some documents online, even if it is some time ago.

The PHP Sitebuilder Team

This is a minor update with a few bug-fixes and
some code rework.

Major code rework. In fact, we have had 313 commits since last release!
Primarily to make code look better and simpler. This should result in a more stable application.

NOTE: All news-boxes are now rendered from
xml-files, that are much easier to
understand. Don't worry, PHP SiteBuilder
creates them if you don't have them.

Due to bugs in rel 0.99-19 of PHP Sitebuilder, member functions and "more news" do not work.

A service complete service release 0.99-20 will be available in short time (probably within the next 2 weeks).

Release 0.99-19 of PHP SiteBuilder

DESCRIPTION
primarily a maintainance release.
Changes include:
* bugfixes in phpPolls -- it did not work in 0.99-18
* bugfix in phphoo redir, so that it will work when registrer_globals=off
in php.ini
* output is xhtml-compliant according to w3c standards

Release 0.99-17 of PHP SiteBuilder

NOTE this release is NOT backwards compatible.
* Changes in menu structure
* Renamed .php3 files to .php

* php port of webboard

Changes in menu. We have included a menu conversion tool to bring old menu
structure to the new xml based menu. We find the new menu structure much
easier to maintain.

.php3 files renamed to .php
We had to do this sooner or later. Note that this means that your old
installation probably needs to be removed. Also note that we did not rename
the /phpHoo and /phpPoll dirs, as we consider them as external plugins. ... read more
