Phaeton is a multi user agent class written in PHP, capable of simultaneously downloading several remote pages over HTTP. Use it instead of Snoopy, it is a lot faster if you need to get several pages.

It reuses the fetcher functionality of Philtron.

Scott R. Lemmon, the author of Proxomitron, the inspiration behind this and many other similar projects has passed away on the 1st of May, aged 36.

We will remember you, Scott, rest in piece.

It seems that there are more people downloading Philtron than I expected, so I guess I owe you guys this notice:

I have a lot to do in my daylight job right now, so the next version will be delayed a bit. The project is NOT suspended and I WILL continue working on it - you can choose to monitor the project file area to be notified when the next version will go out.

It'd be nice to drop a note on the forum saying what you think about it too :)
