I don't follow them religiously , but I do check at DistoWatch occasionally to see where our and various distros are currently getting ranked.
Yesterday , without a lot of fanfare and notoriety we made a new release of PeppermintOS publicly available.
Also with this release was the newer x86_32 / i386 or 32bit version of or distro's ISO.
Today , in the poularity contest we jumped by 12 places amd still climbing . That was an overnight change. You can follow the links there to our Homepage or to the DL page.
Not only had they immediate picked up on that we'd had a release , they also included the newer 32bit version of our ISO as being available.
Many Thanks to Jesse Smith over there for them staying on their "A-Game"
And for getting the word out so quicly about not just our newest release , but also the recent addition to the stable.
I'm really surprised to see the popularity od Peppermint OS continueing to climb.

Shows the current DL's just from SourceForge.net and its getting stronger by the week.
At the time I write this, our viewable download count is at 89,600 .
At the current rate we should be well set to break the 100,000+ Downloads mark in the first 6 months since release.
The actual number of DL's is greater still than this.
Initially we had had a second site that didn't get accounted for in this total .
Then there are the places like MagorGeeks CNET and downloadsource that offer downloads as well the shared files used to install on multiple machines and the bootable USBs being sold on Amazon , eBay and Bonanza.
As it turns out ,
The PeppermintOS project is less of a "flash in the pan" than some expressed with our initial release on February 2nd, in 2022.
We've been getting a lot of encouragement from the community.
This has been not just on the forum or across the web on various social platforms, it includes so very many favorable reviews in numerous outlets.
It's hard to find and see them all to thank them and acknowledge their effort to share what we are doing. We do see the community support and we do want to thank everyone for what they have done to get the word out.
Many Thank You's to every one for the support and the feedback on what you've liked or asked to see done differently.
Also , a thank you to even our harshest of critics.
Your vocally "controversial" words of disdain have helped spread the word We _are_ Back.
And with that said ; DistroWatch.com, being one of the "thermometers" used to gauge an active projects awareness by the public, shows PeppermintOS on a steady course and up another notch in the monthly ratings.
Thank You Everyone

It has taken a while getting here .
In less than 6 months since our new release,
and on the verge of releasing our Devuan based x86_32 and amd64/x86_64 ISOs,
we have reached 100,000+ verified downloads on SourceForge.
