one thing ive noticed with the new theme, if you change the panel look or height in the preferences a red line appears along the edge and you need to run xfce4-panel -r to reset and make it disappear.

i found the original peppermint logo from 2013 buried on my secondary drive, with an without the candy logo. here it is in svg format if you want a copy of it. not sure what font was used but looks similar to the remade one.
I haven't been following much lately. I see this thread is a bit old. Why are you dropping the peppermint from PeppermintOS? I like that being a part of the OS. Could you maybe create a script to add the peppermint logo, wallpapers, etc for people like me who like it?

It was mostly a new chapter in the direction..... with break away from Ubuntu and the move to
Debian/Devuan 32/64
Mini ISOs
The break into the Server side....
That is the reason... Peppermint classic is...classic.....
There was a posting back in April you can still find all the older wallpapers and logos. https://peppermintos.com/2023/04/5801/
who knows maybe there could be scripts for now the focus is on the pipelines, the server builds
Hope that helps...
