WHAT'S NEW

10.7.0 release improves the file manager: more capable dynamic virtual mode on macOS, ability to display image's thumbnails on all platforms, new option to show thumbnails on request, and new integrated text viewer and image viewer tools.
This update improves the handling of errors and the capability to preview items in archives, and also brings an extensive refactoring of the source code in order to improve readability and maintainability.
Backed are updated with Pea 1.27.
Sources are compiled with Lazarus 4.2, and are still compatible with Lazarus 3.x and 2.x.... read more

WHAT'S NEW

10.6.1 minor update, following closely the previous major release, brings bugfixes, updated translations, and an extensive revision of packaged components.
10.6.x line overhauls the file/archive browser introducing dynamic virtual mode option, which improves GUI performances when displaying a large number of items at once.
Archive pre-parsing is improved to automatically reconcile more TOC anomalies, show/hide hidden files is made easier, and search function is now available for Settings.
Non-Windows builds can now automatically locate RAR binary if available, and use alternative 7z fork (alias 7zalt from Advanced settings tab) to support Brotli, FLZMA2, Lizard, LZ4, LZ5, and Zstd additional codecs for .7Z format.

PeaZip for macOS now supports macOS-style keyboard shortcuts, integration with context menu (fully scriptable with Automator), full support to "move to trash" deletion, and support for Brotli, Zpaq, and Zstandard backends.
File manager was improved on Linux, with more alternative styles available.
It is now possible to optionally integrate PeaZip in the Windows 11 mini-context menu from .reg examples provided in (peazip)/res/share/batch folder.
