PcInventory is an inventory system, web based, that store information about pc,
servers and related devices. It allows grouping the devices into categories
(such as pc, printers, scanners ...) and about each device, it allows storing
many information type. Some of those are: description of the devices (description,
network name, ip address, place of installation, serial number ...), user comments,
software installed and purchased, installed adapters, storage data, shares (if any),
and upload of related files (that may be uploaded and stored into the archive).
This new version (1.1.0) brings many bugs fix, and many filter improvement.
The new home page give a sum of the latest pc updated, it remember you the nearest
warranty due date, and the open tickets.

Finally, after many development release, the first stable version of PcInventory is out.

(such as pc, printers, scanners ...) and about each device, it allows storing
many information type. Some of this are: description of the devices (description,
network name, ip address, place of installation, serial number ...), user comments,
software installed and purchased, installed adapters, storage data, shares (if any),
and upload of related files (that may be uploaded and stored into the archive).
This new version brings three major new features:
- Simple ticket system. The user may open, add comments and close tickets related
to each device.
- Software license balance between the installed software and the purchased one
- Components tables. These tables show all the installed components grouped by type
(such as network interface, storage devices, installed software, installed adapter
and so on).

PcInventory 0.3.0 is out. This new version brings new database structure that
allows storing more information about devices (adapters info, installed software,
storage details...). The new setup module allows upgrading from the previous release
with few clicks.
Other new feature is the files or images that the user may upload and link to devices
or invoices.
Many graphics (new tabbed forms layout, image buttons) and programming
(event driven forms) improvement are made.

I realeased the new beta version of PcInventory. This release add the support to CSV file. Now the user (only the administrator user) may
load new data into PcInventory's table from CSV file.
The administrator may configure the field order from the CSV file and save it for future use.

First public release of PcInventory is available.
PcInventory is a web-based system to track the installed Pc and its devices (printers, scanners...).
For each item the system store data about hardware configuration (HD/RAM/NIC...), manufactory, seller and images.
The user may upload and link to each item many pictures (i.e. shot of the item, the invoice scan,) and add one comment to it. More info will be found at the project pages.
This is a beta release. It is a preliminary version of the project. The above features are available, but before release the production version; it is in plan to add other features such as:
- scripts to update the stored information from CSV file
- some kind of reports
The project is written in PHP and uses Mysql as database.
It is released under GPL license.
