After a period of low activity where Agostino worked a lot, we are proud to release version 0.7.0!
After a while, version 0.6.5 is out today. We are planning major updates for versions 0.7.x! Stay tuned....
Minor bugfixes and two new plugins: manage OW2 system logs and tracked referers.
New plugins added to edit users and areas (this one will make it easier to have a running installation). Tables added to the markup. Various bugfixes. Better layout.
Various minor improvements:
- Improved graphic layout and a waelth of new icons
- Assorted bug fixes
- 4 new plugins significantly extending ow2 functionality and easing user administration.
A major update has been added to Ow2wiki by adding plugin support. Plugins are easy to write code object-oriented add-ons that can do anything, actually extending the markup language. A number of sample plugins (user list, recent changes, code snippet, SVG, VRML...) are provided. Many bugfixes and better intergration with Flickr, Technorati adn Furl.
New major functionalities include: tags used for internal categorization, internal search, RSS and Technorati links; added a per-session last visited pages of definable length; fixed a lot of small annoyances about the rendering and node names.
The node name input was improved in order to avoid characters that could break the rendering.
The most important new feature is the new graphics layout, thanks to Mic!
Then we fixed a few bugs, there is new skins layout, and Google search is queried for internal searches.
Major features added:
- a relatime chat embedded in the page
- a tag to create Technorati tags
- minor technical bugfixes with older versions of MySql and magic_quotes_gpc=off
- some layout improvements
Version 0.5.3 represents a major improvement in the ability of ow2wiki to run in diverse environments.
The demo site http://ow2wiki.sourceforge.net is now operational.
Version 0.5.2 contains the first minor improvements to ow2 since its public release.
The missing files from 0.5.0 have been included in 0.5.1. This version of the software is more customizable too.
They are the files used to implement RSS 2.0 and user creation.
I already uploaded them to trhe CVS and I will release some version 0.5.1 tomorrow. Meanwhile you can strat experimenting with the included users.
The anonymous CVS now shows (and lets people download) the full project files and I uploaded the first release as a tarball.
I just uploaded all of the files on the CVS. Maybe some files will be missing, but I'll add them ASAP.
Hello everybody, I am about to upload the files so you can start playing with them.
