#417 Store path to image rather than the image itself in the set files

Hi! I am wondering if it would be possible to write the image path in the set file instead of storing the image in that file. This would be dramatically reduce the size of set files.

For me that would help a lot in processing set files in my LaunchBar action.

Not sure if that is possible. But I figured asking can't do much harm ;)

You can do that today. Under General Settings, Image Handling. Select "Do not embed images..." or the equivalent in your local language. It is the fourth checkbox down.

That will change it for all files that are edited afterward. OpenSong will not go through existing files without you opening it for edit.

This same feature is available on the Images tab of the Song editor and the Image Slide option within the Sets editor.

If this is not working for you, let us know the platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) and OpenSong version and we can investigate.
