Please talk with CCLI / SongSelect to be able to use their new API, which only companies can gain access. This would be HUGE asset to OpenSong with the ability to Import songs directly from OpenSong program.
BTW - SongSelect elimited the export songs to the SongSelect format, which pretty much makes the OSI tool useless. We need a way to get songs on the fly!!

Please contact CCLI, asking them to change their rediculous policy regarding downloads of lyrics and chords, usage of their api, and upload of usage data. This would help many churches, not just OpenSong and it's users.

Another way was to provide api access for OpenSong by covering the legal and financial requirements. OpenSong is no company and does not belong to any company nor even to any other legan entity. Furthermore, there are not any funds for covering such expenses.

+1 for this. CCLI seems to be firmly against open source software (and arguably against even low cost, closed source, paid for software) going by the recurring cost of their API partner program. It's a real shame, and quite frankly a kick in the teeth to those of us who have invested time and energy in this regard.

Judging by posts elsewhere, many open source software authors would be more than happy to have a discussion with them on this, but have had the door slammed in their faces as soon as they mention "free software" (myself included.) The only way this has a vague possibility of changing is if all users of said software take a stand and hassle CCLI about this very subject.

      Has this matter been addressed?

No, to my knowledge nothing has changed with the API or CCLI's approach to open source software.

Does anyone know of a utility to convert Chordpro files into OpenSong files? CCLI now offers Chordpro format files as a download option.

I'm a developer looking for any info or inroads to the CCLI API integration. Is there a site or page that addresses their requirements?

CCLI seems to agressively prevent companies from joining their API program. They have put me off for more than 3 years now. Every time I try to reach out to them, they state that the API is not available for new partners at this time. It is a big impediment to us serving our churches and forces those churches to purchase high dollar systems to access the type of functionality that they need. It seems like unfair commerce given that CCLI pretty much holds a monopoly on copyright compliance for church music and their reason for existence is to help churches comply with legal obligations. Churches that use CCLI and SongSelect have paid for the license and for the service, but they then put roadblocks in place to keep them from fully utilizing it.
