Generate correct GPA in report cards in OpenSis Comunity edition

Hello,
I am trying to generate a report card which should display the GPA of the students. For some reason, it is displaying the GPA as 0.0 for all students which is incorrect. I did define all the grades along with their unweighted GP value (example: 93 for grade A anda value of 4.0 in the corresponding unweighted GP value column) under Grades > Setup > Report Card Grades. I have looked at some of the articles related to troubleshooting in the support forum but they are very old and outdated. I would highly appreciate if someone can help me with this.

Make sure the course period is using the Grade scale where you have added the GP values. Most common mistake is that the course period does not have grade scale associated.
