OpenQVis / News: Recent posts

I have the first version of OpenQVis running on MacOSX 10.2.2 (see screenshot on http://wwwvis.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de/~engel/\). However there are still some unsolved problems that need to be fixed before i can release a binary and check in the source-code.

Can anyone help with the strange behaviour of MacOSX regarding the current directory. If i start OpenQVis by clicking on the Icon the current directory becomes / (root) and file loading fails. If i start OpenQVis using the shell then file loading works ?!?!

Many people have reported problems downloading the data set files. Due to bandwidth problems with the ftp server at the University of Erlangen, I have uploaded the data sets to the sourceforge server.

The OpenQVis project has released its first binary package for Win32. The package contains all necessary binaries and DLLs to run the programm under Windows NT, Windows 2000 and XP.
