The System Modules overview

Here you can find a few [Examples] that show hot to set-up the System Module in the order of increasing complexity. You can take Example 3 and modify it for your needs – we find the framework sufficiently robust for most applications.

Chemisorption

The system controls a chemisorption, TPO, TPD, TPR setup. The system contains several Bronkhorst mass-flow controllers followed by pneumatic valves. These are connected to a reactor via a 4-way valve.

Main_Stepwise

The system is used to control the main hydrogenation reactor used. The schematic provided gives a good overview of the system.

Sec_Steps_Rheodyne_offline

It is another (second) hydrogenation setup with a slightly different set of units controlled by the same methodology as the Main Stepwise system

Sec_Stepwise_offline

It is second hydrogenation setup with a slightly different set of units compared to Main Stepwise controlled by the same methodology as the Main Stepwise system.

Sec_External_control

The system that controls the second hydrogenation reactor via a text file with the operating parameters. This system allows simple interaction of the OpenFlowChem reactor with other software and internet of things via cloud file exchangers.
