Do you happen to have the Intel wireless tools installed with your card? Can you also run "sc query open1x" and see if the driver is installed and running?
From the logs, it looks like something is blocking the supplicant engine from being able to enumerate the interfaces on the machine.

I see a similar issue with my Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN. I have Intel drive version 13.1.1.1, but don't seem to have the wireless tools. There is no problem connecting when not using the supplicant.
