NtfsReader .NET Library / News: Recent posts

This project use a novel approach at gathering directory/files metadata by reading NTFS partitions directly which is many order of magnitude faster than the classic method.

With this tool, I am able to gather information about 32 158 folders and 317 217 files in less than 2 seconds (reading metadata at 200MB/s on my RAID0 system). Doing this by using classic API would take several minutes to complete.... read more
