In the case of use with several monitors, would it be possible to have an API to force the display in standalone mode on a particular monitor?
Under windows
here's a little tip to allow you to open your programs constantly on the same screen:
Open the application, move it to the screen where you want it to open automatically then minimize the window (do not minimize but reduce).
Close the window without maximizing it again and open your application again; it should open again on the desired screen.
