This is a bugfix release, primarily aimed to fix build errors of the FreeBSD port.

Alan Eldridge (alane), the founder and the maintainer of the Newfile project has passed away on June 6th. See In Memoriam page at the KDE-FreeBSD website: http://freebsd.kde.org/memoriam/alane.php.

I - Sergei Kolobov - have adopted this project and plan to resume its further development.

This release fixes a critical error in the configuration system. It is unlikely you hit i t, but you should upgrade if you use this software.
