Thanks Noraiz, VMWare was proving a little tetchy so I've swapped to hardware. I am testing with an old Dell R310 server, with an LSI card (non-raid IT mode) connected to a Promise SATA array and it seems to be working well. I've left it wiping 3 drives for the moment. I will fill the array up later and see what happens. I did email sales@greatengland.co.uk about a license but have not had anything back; do you have an alternate contact? Thanks Dan
Hi Dan, make sure storage device for esxi virtual host is presented as SATA and BIOS ACHI mode is usd. Do not use EFI/UEFI to install NDW server. NDW has been tested to work with VirtualBox and VMware player. You can also install it on a standard Dell Desktop PC which has SATA HDD installed. Let me know how it goes?
I've tried installing the latest NDW 4.5 ISO on a VM (esxi 6,7) and did "nuke" when prompted. Rebooting results in failure and "dracut" issues
As of now, I can't verify other systems. I don't have any other system at my current location. At my next opportunity, I will grab a different system and provide an update. Thanks for the quick response.
AndrewB, does this happens on all the systems or just on HP ProBooks G3? We have an upcoming release in final stages this new release has latest microcode as well as updated Linux kernel. This will certainly be fixed in the upcoming release. However, our commercial version is always up-to-date and all bugs are already fixed. If you are interested in getting commercial version please get intouch with support team.
While attempting to use your product against HP ProBooks G3, I kept receiving a message to update the microcode and kernel panic. Then it reboots after 60 seconds.

Label customization is available on demand and is only offered to commercial / paying users free of charge. If you are interested in demo let me know.
Could you send me instructions on how to tweak the stickers after the wipe? or a link? thank you! this is an amazing product! Apology, I thought you were referring to NIS which is also developed by me and is automated network inventory system. anyway, i will answer your question. NDW by default automatically prints HDD serial as barcode on each label. However labels can be tweaked and are highly customizeable. yes we can print system serial as barcode or any other desired serial as the barcode label. This feature is only available in commercial version.

NIS currently prints by default the serial number of the motherboard / system. I think you want the NIS to print HDD serial instead of system serial on the barcode label.

just curious if we can tweak the printed label to print the barcode of the computer, not the hard drive?
