NeoPSX has a new website at http://www.zenogais.net. Also, I've released NeoPSX v0.3.0 on this website. This version of NeoPSX, while still unable to play games has an Disassembler to disassemble and execute Playstation binary programs. This is the last version before NeoPSX goes through a massive rewrite due to some errors cropping up because of underlying flaws in the core components.
This version has alot of improvements. Mainly I completed removed the old CPU interpreter implementation in favor of an array of function pointers, and it has made the code alot easier to maintain. I also have added support for feeding a SCPH BIOS file through the CPU interpreter. Check it out in the downloads section, and until next release Enjoy!
NeoPSX has a new member. His name is lysergic and he will be helping code. Welcome to the team Lysergic!
I got the NeoPSX webpage up, check it out at http://www.neopsx.tk
Added some really awesome pics to the project(New Splash, About, and Icon) thanks to Razor Blade for the pics.
Updated the files now have a full working GUI and splash screen, next releases will hopefully have emulation or at least be able to run the BIOS. Sorry this release is only for windows.
NeoPSX has released its first files. Its just a GUI right now, but I'm trying to follow the open-source motto and release early and often. Hope you enjoy and email me any comments, questions, suggestions that you may have! Sorry, its only for windows.
I should be uploading the new CD-ROM code soon, I have switched a good portion of the source-code to SDL(Simple DirectMedia Layer) which should make programming the CD-ROM code much simpler. I'll keep you updated.
Development on NeoPSX is now beginning. Check back for more news later.
I have files uploaded to the CVS server, and I have checked and they are downloadable, you just can't view them with the CGI CVS viewer. So those of you who know CVS can go and download the source I have so far, and those of you who don't well, I'm sorry...heh but it never hurts to learn
