• libaudiooss - says Erik Inge Bolso¸: "This is the library that fools OSS programs into thinking your NAS server is just another soundcard. At least, that\'s the ideal.\" This library works with Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris.

Native NAS Support

• The Festival Speech Systhesis System - Festival contains native NAS support
• mpg123 - a command line MP3 player
• MPlayer - a multimedia player.
• Gaim- A free AOL (and others) IM client
• OpenOffice - The OpenOffice Suite has built-in NAS support for the Solaris and Linux Platforms.
• The TrollTech QT Library supports NAS natively. You will need to pass the \'-system-nas-sound\' to \'./configure\' before building.
• The Simple DirectMedia Library (SDL) now has native NAS support thanks to Erik Inge Bolsø
• XAnim - the X Animation viewer
