Thanks for this terrific program! Is there a way to have autonumbering increment by some value other than 1? For example, "number.incrementBy=2" or similar?
Thanks for the email. I receive MSCs created by msc-gen and use the
figures as the basis for documentation that has a specific numbering
convention that requires the Figure 1 to start at step 100, Figure 2 to
start at 200, etc., and that requires steps to increment by 2. Right now
we just recreate the diagram from scratch using Visio, in part because of
the numbering convention, but mostly because the staff here are familiar
with Visio and are not familiar with msc-gen. If there was an
incrementBy=2 option,msc-gen there would be a demonstrable advantage to
modifying and reusing the msc-gen file over recreating it in Visio: I could
set the first figure number as needed (e.g., "300"), and let "\N" do the
rest. I'd love to avoid having to recreate the figure in Visio.

OK, I will add this as soon as I can figure out, how to upgrade my windows installer tool to the new versions of Visual Studio.
Do you need it on Windows or on Linux?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
OK, I have added v6.3.8~rc1.msi.
Use "numbering.increment=2;" to get what you want.
Only in the GUI version: no linux version provided and the command-line windows version does not have this feature. Also, the documentation does not have it described. Please let me know if you like it.

Sorry, there is no such facility at present. Just out of curiosity: what do you need it for?
