#88 mpg join fails after system header not found

Problem:
Joining two short mpg files fails.

Background:
The mpg were extracted from DVD-VOBs by MPEGstreamclip 1.8. The DVD was written by Toast 6.1. The input to Toast were mov files ONLY A FEW SECONDS long.
