Just to let folks know that the code repository was converted to git (from CVS). A couple lint-like warnings were removed.

And yeah, a while back we released new 4.2. (Last new items mentions 4.1)

Som minor build fix bugs.
- in RPM spec file, more idomatic automake

- building outside source tree
thanks to Peter Breitenlohner <peb@mppmu.mpg.de>
- will work with on more non-GNU makes (e.g BSD's)

This release uses automake and more of its conventions. "make dist" and "make distcheck" now work. It uses libgtop if available.

Final release before converting to use automake.
A couple of install bugs were fixed.
