It's been quite a while and this build has proven to be very stable so I'm releasing it as 1.0. There are no known issues at this time.

Fixed critical bug where a database could not be opened; fixed an annoying bug where artists without anymore tracks would remain in the list; and fixed some minor bugs. There are no more known issues.

After more than a year since the previous release, the new and improved MinkSonic jukebox 0.90 has been released!

It appears to very stable after a few weeks of everyday use, but a *lot* of code was re-written since the last release; so please let me know if you experience and difficulties. And as usual, I welcome any and all comments.

Up through version 0.86 the MinkSonic software has been available under a BSD license.

In order to be able to incorporate software from other projects rather than writing everything from scratch, it has been decided to switch to the GNU Public License.

A source tarball has been added to the 0.86 release so that folks interested in the BSD licensed code can easily download it without the additional restrictions provided by the GPL.
